Can I compare 500 g with 1 kg?
Yes, but enter both in the same unit. The calculator uses one unit for all items and does not convert between units, so enter 500 and 1000 with "Grams" selected.
Is the bigger pack always cheaper per unit?
No. Shops sometimes price a large pack higher per unit than a small one, especially when the small one is on offer. Compare the cost per unit, not the pack price.
Can I use it for business costs, like the cost per customer?
Yes. Enter a monthly cost as the total price, the number of customers, orders or support tickets in that month as the quantity, and select "Pieces / Items". Add a second item to compare two months or two suppliers.
