The Why
Having been ranked #24 globally with over 3000 games as a Tank, I felt it was time for me to share my knowledge and help new players grow.
The How
ML:TT was created with the JAMstack. It's hosted on Netlify and written with Nuxt + Tailwind. Storyblok was the cms of choice for this project.
It was a really cool experience having Netlify auto rebuild whenever it detects changes on the Github repo.
Cool Stuff
ML:TT was my first passion project to generate money! 💰💰💰
Even though it was an overall loss, knowing that people valued my work is really what got me to where I am today. It gave huge confidence to keep on trudging and learning!
Development aside, it really opened my eyes to other important factors when starting an app. Looking for people willing to collaborate and marketed the app on their videos was my first step to running the business side of things. In the end we had 2 promotion videos and there would definitely have been more if the app lived a while longer.
